Candy and I will treasure always the blessing of having known "Little Joe" as American Hero and friend." We loved spending time with at the 507th PIR reunions and chating by phone. Our thoughts and prayers go out to family and friends.
Attached is one our favorite photos of Joe. This was taken during the 2007 reunion when we were shuffling from location to location at Ft. Benning. His son in law, Jerry, by his side.

I met Little Joe a couple years ago and had the privilege of listening and talking with him. I found out about his passing last night and am deeply saddened. As a fellow paratrooper, I will remember him and the great things he did for his county. As a friend I will remember talking with him in his home and at VFW events. He truely was one of our Heroes. A humble Hero. A wonderful man and one who will truely be missed far and wide.
Airborne All the Way Joe. God Bless you and yours.
