Hello Barbara, I was Paul was my closest friend in Torrinton. We lived on adjacent streets and walked to the East school together. We shared our private thoughts, we were not part of the in crowed , but were proud of our academic accomplishments before the term "nerds" was part of the vocabulary. We went to college and band together. Eventually we separated as we moved geographically. Paul was a dear trusted friend. Through the years we, Linda and I, often talked of Paul. I wish we had lived closer as adults. I have missed him and will continue to do so. He was a gem. If you wish to respond, my email is [email protected]. Our hearts reach out to you and we wish you peace and love. Charlie

Barbara -
I was so sorry to hear about Paul. It was quite a shock because I hadn't even known he was sick until Ellen told me on Saturday.
I will always have good memories of his (so often right on point) contributions in the BAS and in the Sinai beit midrash and the good times we all had.
May his memory be for a blessing. He will be missed greatly.

Dr. Barbara Libby, Matthew, Ken, Bruce and family,
I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I would like for you to know that some of my fondest childhood memories were of the Passover Seder that you all shared with me so many years ago. That experience left a lasting impression and I am very thankful for it even today.
Regrettably my Sunday responsibilities at the monastery kept me from being able to more formally pay my respects... just know that you were all in my heart on Sunday as you were grieving your great loss.
With the greatest love,
Rev. Fr. Bruce Pawlak
