I worked with Rex at Sears Hardware on Brice Rd from 1989-1992 when I was 22 yrs old. He taught me everything about paint and tools! I adored Rex and he stayed in my heart all these years! I'm very sad to hear of this.

Rex was a great son, dad, and granddad all he talked about was his sons and grandchildren and his love for golf and pool. I only knew him for 5 years as a co-worker but he was a great person to associated with he treated everybody as a friend.

Rex worked with my brother at Nationwide and I got to know him in his role at Germain. He was a true professional and helped steer me well as I purchased cars. He talked so well and fondly of his family. I will miss him and his good counsel.

Matt & Eric I am sorry for your loss there are never enough words to say about your dad that you haven't heard by now or lived yourself that explains how much your dad loved you guys and the grand kids. You know by now how much your dad was loved and cherished by many who was honored to have meet him and privileged to call him a friend, brother, dad, grandpa. He made this world a better place and people a lot better that knew him. I only knew him for a short time from working with him but I truly enjoyed talking with him daily and listening to him talk about his boys and grand kids. I for one and honored to have meet him and can call him a friend. Rex you will be missed by many my friend enjoy the best greens in heaven and hit em straight and far my brother. RIP
