Ronald LOCK Obituary
April 29, 1939 - July 18, 2017
With deep sadness, the family of Ronnie Lock announces his passing on July 18, 2017, at the Rockyview Hospital. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Norma and his children Michael (Kathryn), Gary (Michelle), Brent (Phyllis), Carla (Kevin) and Dana. Twelve grandchildren will dearly miss their Grandpa, aka Papa: Ryan, Kelsey (Jamie), Greg and Adam, Alex (Erin) and Laura (Dustin), Jennifer and Shealie, Ali (Jordan) and Brendan (Brooke and great-grandson Brax), and Ashley and Justin. Ronnie is survived by his sister-in-law Muriel and Wayne Stordahl, and brother-in-law Keith Taylor. Ronnie was born and raised in the Okotoks area and was a longtime resident of Nanton. His work ethic, passion for sports, friendships and family values have left a lasting impression. A Celebration of Life will be held July 27, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Okotoks Centennial Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to a charity of choice, or to the Foothills Country Hospice. Terry will always have fond memories of Ron as the businessman across the street, as a fellow Promoter, and so much more. Their last visit on July 2 was a great one, and Terry is forever thankful that they had that hour together. Thank you to the family for making that happen.
