Victoria Borrelli

BORRELLI _ Victoria Crescencia (nee Lozano) 1919 - 2007 Victoria Crescencia Borrelli (nee Lozano) of Calgary, passed away peacefully at her home, in her own time and in her own bed, on Friday, October 12, 2007 at the age of 88 years. Victoria was born in Lima, Peru on April 19, 1919 and spent most of her life there. She moved to Canada to marry the love of her life, Salvatore Borrelli, on March 7, 1984. Sadly, the couple had just nine months together before Salvatore died on a return visit to Lima, in December of that same year. Victoria returned to Canada, moved back into the house they shared in Bridgeland, and never remarried. She is survived by an older brother, Cristelo Lozano of Venezuela; and older sister, Sister Angela Lozano of Peru. Victoria will also be missed by her nieces, Teresa Lozano of Los Angeles, CA; Luisa Lozano de Urquizo (Lucha) of Lima, Peru; Isabel Lozano (Chabuca) of Maracay, Venezuela; grand-niece, Patti Hildebrand of Summerland, B.C.; nephews, Manuel Zarate of Peru and Frank Lozano (Paco) of Connecticut, U.S.A.; and friend, guardian, and executor, Jeff Collins. Besides her loving husband, Salvatore, Victoria was predeceased by her parents, Augustine Lozano-Sanchez and Hacinta Campos De Lozano; brothers, Benito and Clemente Lozano; and sisters, Maria, Fredes and Elena Lozano. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 - 4 Street N.W.
