Jane Lois Adams Clark
87, died Feb. 1, 2011 at Rose Lane Health Center in Massillon. Born 1924 in Canton, Ohio, Jane graduated from Lehman High School in 1942. She attended Westminster Choir College in Princeton, N.J., where she met her husband, David. They were married on Dec. 2, 1944 at the First Presbyterian Church in Canton. She and her family lived in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Radburn, N.J., Olney, Md., Shaker Heights, Ohio and Greensboro, N.C. Music lived in Jane's heart and soul. She sang in church choirs all her life and she especially loved directing children's choirs. She taught piano students and was active in community theatre. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, O. W. Adams and Pearl Williams Adams, owner-operators of the Superior Dry Cleaning Company, and her infant daughter, Trudy Jane.
She is survived by her husband, David M. Clark and her sons, Thomas (Judith) of Clinton, Ohio, Jeffrey of Sebastopol, Calif., and Cory (Luzminda) of Las Vegas, Nev. She also leaves grandchildren, Pandora (Jeffrey) Cunningham, Ryan, Jacob and Caleb (Shaunna) Clark; and great-grandsons, Gabriel and Spencer. She will also be missed by her many friends and caregivers at Rose Lane, where she lived since 2004.
A memorial service will take place at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 6, 2011 at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home. There will be no calling hours. Condolences may be made at www.karlofh.com
