E. Zwick Obituary

E. Dale Zwick
85, of Massillon, passed away Friday, Jan. 11, 2013 at 1:25 a.m. following a brief stay at The Cleveland Clinic. Dale graduated from Timken High School in 1945, after which he joined the Navy and honorably served our country. Upon his return home he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business from Kent State University. He went on to work for Northern Engraving and retired as Vice President. Later in life he worked for the Canton Invaders soccer team as their business manager. He also owned various restaurants before and after his retirement. He met his future wife Irene while she worked at his restaurant Perkins. Over a two year period they became friends. They then dated for 10 years before getting married on Dec. 28, 1977. They have been together since. Dale loved to spend time with his family and friends. He enjoyed traveling, especially to California. He had a wealth of knowledge and a passion for classic trains and airplanes. He enjoyed photographing all of these things and leaves behind many beautiful memories.
Dale was preceded in death by his mother, Esta (Black) Zwick, father, E. R. Zwick, son Les Zwick and his daughter Lisa Zwick. He is survived by his wife, Irene (Williams) Zwick; step-children Tobi Dagy of Canton, Robin (Dagy) Rupp of Massillon, Dawn Dagy of Canton, Beryl Dagy of Carlsbad, Calif. and Destry Dagy of San Diego, Calif.; grandchildren Anastasha, Joey, Mararix, Genevieve, Franco, Ashley, Erika, Tee, Mandy, Shannon, Ethan, Evan, Keira, and Jimmy.
Per his request, Dale's ashes were spread in California at Point Loma on Jan. 20, 2013
