One month ago you left me and didn't say good bye. I've asked myself each day why? Did you not know that I would miss you? Did you not know how much I love you? Did you not know that I would have held you tight and begged you to stay. I look around for you daily but you are nowhere to be found. I have told myself that you are just out of town and can't be reached by phone. I pray that you made it to the "place" where the streets are paved with Gold. A place where everyday is like "Sunday." Granddaddy now you can finally rest. You have fouhgt a good fight, you have finished the race and you have kept the faith. Now you can finally rest. Change your suit and put on your comfortable robe. Relax your feet and put on your slippers. Granddaddy we love you and we miss you. Good Night
Love, your Granddaughter Shawn
