Mollie Cashwell Obituary

Mollie Reo Cashwell N. CHARLESTON - Mollie "Reo" Cashwell, 98, of North Charleston, widow of John W. Cashwell, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, February 7, 2011, at a local nursing home. Born December 1, 1912, in Bethune, SC, to the late William E. Baker, and Mollie V. Neal Baker. Mrs. Cashwell was retired from the VA Hospital. She worked for the American Tobacco Company for over 20 years. Mrs. Cashwell was a member of the Northside Baptist Church. She was a member of the Hanahan Senior citizens and the AARP. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include two daughters: Donna Long and her husband Ed Spartanburg, Cheryl Rourk, of Hanahan, one sister; Faye Hair of Mt. Pleasant, five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, Many nieces and nephews and friends. Her funeral service will be Wednesday, February 9, 2011, 1:00 p.m., at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC. Burial to follow in Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive family and friends from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, prior to the service. A special thanks to all the staff at The Life Care of Charleston for the wonderful care and love that she was given for the last two years. I was saddened to hear of the home-going of Mrs. Cashwell. Her life was a beautiful picture of faithfulness, and she has been and will be missed at Northside. I pray God will comfort your hearts at this time.
