Happy Mother's Day!
I miss you so much. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of you and wish that I could bring you back. A classmate told me that I didn't lose my mom, that I gained an angel and i'd like to think that when I drift off to sleep at night thinking of you, you are covering me with your wings. There are so many things I want to say and so many things I wish I did. I want you to know that I love you. I always will.

To the Grate family,
Miss Consitter cut my hair every month. We would trade stories about the kids we had (I had 20 kindergarten students and she was a Mom and a Grandmother). It was a time I looked forward to for many reasons. First for her beautiful work- she always made me look better. Second for the happy stories and time to talk. She always had a smile on her face and a story about everything. I just found out today God called her home. I will never forget her smile and her style. I am thankful we met on this journey on earth and hope to see her in heaven one day.

To the family,
So sorry for your loss. I really loved Consitter. We worked together for a year and it was always a pleasure. I made sure to keep in touch the best I could. She was my mom away form home, because I was new to Charleston. She spoke so highly of her family, I felt I knew you personnally. Her stories were great and she was always encourageing. She kept a smile on her face and never let anything stop her. I loved that about her and her energy was amazing. She will be deeply missed. She will never be forgotton, for all the love she showed, encouragement given, and a spank on the hand when needed. I had such deep respect for her. I hope that you can be strong in this time of greif, as she would want you and all of us to be. Celebrate her life and remember the joy she brought to everyone she met.

Annette and Family;
Remembering the goodness that Connie brought into our lives is only a blueprint that we hope to leave behind in this lifetime when God rings our doorbell. I remember Connie trying to start up the etiquette classes with us and introducing us to those upscale foods. Those were the days... Lean of the Lord today and always...

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Dear Cousin Walter and Thelma:
There are no words that could possibly bring you comfort in this grieving time, because we all know that there is no bond greater than that of parents and their children. Lean on the Lord and He will see you through.
You have my deepest sympathy during this trying time.
Continue to look toward the hill from which all our help comes from. May you find comfort in knowing weeping may endure for a night, but joy will surely come in the morning.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you now and in the days, months and years to come.
Love,
Your cousin,
