Steven Jackson Obituary

Steven Ray Jackson MOUNT ULLA - Steven Ray Jackson, 45, of Mt. Ulla, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2012, at his residence. He was born on September 10, 1966 in New Mexico, to Berna Hudgens Jackson and the late George W. Jackson. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and employed with C.E. Holt Refrigeration. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Lisa Manarel Jackson; children, Matthew Jackson, Gavin Jackson, Kyah Jackson all of the home, Steven Jackson, Jr. and Amberly Jackson of Kansas City, MO; brothers, Clifton Jackson of Elko, NV, Robert Jackson of Ceres, CA; sister, Denise Costa of Medesto, CA; and grandchildren, Hunter Jackson and Eric Jackson. A Memorial service with full military honors will be held at 5:00 PM on Thursday, July 19 at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel with Rosemary Michal officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3:00-5:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Welcome Home Veterans Building Fund, c/o Richard's Coffee Shop, 128 S Main St, Mooresville, NC 28115 and/or the Mooresville Soup Kitchen, P.O. Box 5173, Moores-ville, NC 28117. Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville, is serving the Jackson family. Condolences may be made to the family at www.cavin-cook.com.
