Diane Colby, nee Markowitz, age 82, of Buffalo Grove, beloved wife and best friend for 62 years of Edward; loving mother of Renee (Joseph) Cohen and Douglas (late Phyllis) and loving companion Debbie deZonna; adored Meema of Jeremy (Jenny) Cohen, Jessica (David) Neiman, Danielle (David Kogan) and Jason (Rosie Yanovsky) Colby; proud great grandmother of Kaylee; and Debbie's children, Peyton and Ellie; cherished sister of Shirley (Mike) Edwards and the late Sylvia Markowitz and Annette (late Harold) Schulkin; treasured sister-in-law, aunt, and friend to many. Graveside service Wednesday, 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Park, 9900 Gross Point Rd., Skokie. In lieu of flowers, contribution to the charity of your choice.
