Remembering the many good times when we were all young and life stretched out ahead of us with so much promised.

Gerry was one of the best people I know...kind, concerned, witty, sympathetic. He was always trying to help people out with their troubles, even when it would appear that his own troubles were overwhelming. He never let what was troubling him get in the way of his seemingy ceaseless efforts to ameliorate the problems of others in any way he could.
A kind word, an effective phone call, a needed introduction, a great joke, a refreshing perspective shared over an entertaining lunch or dinner...these were the things that Gerry always made available. He always had time for those who needed him.
Yes, Gerry was one of the best people I know, and I know a lot of good people...Gerry introduced me to many of them.
Gerry, Godspeed, good buddy. My regret is that I've only known you for about ten years. But I'm looking forward to sharing laughs and lunch in eternity with you.
