Bishop Raymond Kalisz SVD, 83, retired bishop of Wewak, Papua New Guinea, passed away Dec. 12, 2010; devoted son of the late John Kalisz and Agnes, nee Ruskowicz; loving brother of Martha Szymanski, Joseph, Adam, John and Sr. Jeannine (Anna) Kalisz OP. A visitation will be held Thursday, 6 p.m. until wake service at 7 p.m. at Chapel of the Holy Spirit, Techny Towers, 2001 Waukegan Rd., Techny, IL 60082. Funeral Mass, Friday 11 a.m. at Chapel of the Holy Spirit, Techny Towers. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Techny, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in the name of Bishop Raymond Kalisz to the Divine Word Missionaries, P.O. Box 6000, Techny, IL 60082.
