To the entire Van Pelt family,
Growing up in Edgebrook, I always looked up to Mr. Van Pelt as a role model. I loved to talk to him about his job as a fireman. I don't think there are too many people in this world that were nicer than he was. He will be missed.

Dear Donna and family
Bob was a great scout leader and a great man. He shaped the lives of many of us and he will continue to live through our deeds. As a leader of men he will be missed. I once heard it said that the truest judgement of a man's life is based upon whether the world was a better place because he was in it when he leaves it. This is a much better world because of Mr. Van Pelt! I can only hope that those left after I go can say as much for me. I will try to live up to the things he installled into us all.

Dear Donna and family,
It was a joy to have known Bob for many, many years. We shared many laughs which will be treasured memories. He was a great friend, who loved people. Now he will embrace his heavenly family with joy & humor as he did his earthly family & friends.
Keep the humor going all you Van Pelts.
Love to all,
