Joyce DUMTSCHIN Obituary

Cantor Joyce Ury Dumtschin, age 56 of Dayton, formerly of Wilmette, Il, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2013. Joyce was a graduate of Northwestern University and received her Masters Degree from Marshall University. She was certified by the American Conference of Cantors and the Cantors Assembly. Joyce served as the former Cantor of Temple Beth Or in Dayton. Survived by her husband Irwin, son Nathan, daughter Rachel, parents, Bernard and Helen Ury, 2 brothers, Allen B.(Rene) Ury and Daniel G. (Dara) Ury, sister-in-law Nancy (Larry) Katz, 4 nephews, Robert, Adam and Noah Ury and Matthew Katz, niece Danielle (Bryan) Howell, aunt Carole (Edward) Casper, uncle, David Robert (Beverly) Belzer. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, 10 AM at Beth Abraham Synagogue in Dayton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Assn. or the charity of your choice. Bradford - Connelly & Glickler Funeral Home in Dayton, handling arrangements.
