I had a huge crush on Buddy when I would run into him on Rush Street in Chicago in the 70s. I found him a romantic and fascinating man who I knew would one day be so much more than he ever anticipated. I'll bet he became a good father and grandpa! If some of you don't think so please give him some grace and look into your own heart. I am a follower of Jesus Christ now and, though Buddy would probably have teased me about this, maybe he would have listened and been transformed as I have been. I love you, Buddy, and I pray your kids are wise and strong and love God

My condolences to Bud's family. I was a classmate of his both at Loyola and Notre Dame and a friend for all these years. I have and will keep many good memories of the Bud- Man and the fun we shared. May God bless and keep him.
