Virginia "Ginny" Mary (nee Gallagher) of Wayne Twp., OH. Loving wife of the late Andrew Dietrich. Dear mother of Charlene Barber, Gary Dietrich and Ted Dietrich; Proud grandmother of 6 grandchildren and the late Lisa Mary Barber and 7 great grandchildren; beloved sister of Tom Gallagher, Margie Heeney and the late Jerry Gallagher and Patricia Honerkamp. February 28, 2016 at the age of 91. Ginny was active with the Blanchester Senior Citizens, Blanchester Athletic Boosters, Rosary at Holy Name, the ladies Auxillary Services with Wayne Twp. Fire and loved to bowl. Services will be held on Wednesday March 2, 2016 at 12 noon at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St. Blanchester, OH 45107, where friends will be received from 10 AM until time of service. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Montgomery, OH. Family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the charity of one's choice. www.tuftsschildmeyer.com

I remember well Ginny with Holy Names church festivals we use to have. She worked along with my mother, Mary Black. She was a very lovely lady. Prayers to the whole family.

I loved her when I was a little girl. I've thought of her fondly over the last 40 years though our paths never crossed. I wish I could have met her again and thanked her for the wonderful memories. Her sweet kindness touched my young heart and has stayed with me ever since. Thank you, Mrs. Dietrich.
