John IKE Obituary



IKE

John Edward, resident of Hyde Park, passed away peacefully December 26 at the age of 90. A native Nebraskan, he was a graduate of West Point and served as an officer in the United States Air Force, Army and Navy. He was a respected business leader in Cincinnati. He loved golf, second only to his family. He is survived by his wife Nancy Coulbourn Ike, his sister Nina Sheldon, his children Leslie, John and Peter and his beloved grandchildren Kit, Andy, Emily, Sally, Caroline and Oscar. A Celebration of his Life will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Terrace Park at 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Episcopal Retirement Homes, Inc (www.episcopalretirement.com).
