John F. , beloved husband of Dee Keister Smith, dear son of Mary E. Clements Smith and the late Mahlon Smith, father of Sherri (Kevin) Corn and Jennifer (Rob) Roelling, grandfather of Jonathan and Bryce, uncle of Mark (Char) Smith, Kim Smith and Bryan (Haley) Smith, preceded in death by his brother Mahlon C. Smith Jr., also survived by many cousins and friends. He was a member of the Milford Masonic Lodge, the Scottish Rite, Shriners and the Fraternal Order of Eagles New Lexington. He was the owner of the Miami Valley Building, Inc and an avid boater and loved vacationing in Florida. Wednesday, April 6, 2011, age 64. Resident of Batavia, Ohio. Services, Evans Funeral Home, Milford, Monday, April 11th at 10 AM. Visitation Sunday, 3 to 5 PM with Masonic and Scottish Rite services at 4:45PM. In lieu of flowers, family requests that donations be made to a food bank of your choice. www.evansfuneralhome.com
