Brette & I adored you from the first day we met & worked together at the PLAYHOUSE, in the late '70's. (House of Bernarda Alba) Then with Worth at CCM and finally in NYC! You were always a ball of energy and a ray of sunshine. RIP Betty!

Elizabeth and I shared a dressing room at the American Place Theatre, when we both appeared in Joyce Carol Oat's "I Stand Before You Naked" We have been friends ever since. This is a tremendous loss of a lovely, generous, and talented woman. Elizabeth has stayed with me in my home in NJ and both looked forward to her next visit. I stayed with Elizabeth from 1/28/13-1/31/13. She could not have been more loving or generous to me. I left her a message to say I had made it home safely, this was followed by an e-mail. I never heard from her. I just found out the sad new last evening. I can't
even take it all in. I would greatly appreciate being able to speak to any family member. All my prayers are with you all [email protected]

Betty was one of the special people you meet in life who seem to always make you smile. I'll miss her

Brette and I met you at The Playhouse in the Park in House of Bernarda Alba (1977).. remember? You were the bright star of we village women and we all fell in love with you. You broke into "the soaps" in NYC to shine even brighter, met and became my brother David's good friend and then headed out to L.A. for even more glory! You were not on this earth nearly long enough but while here, you really knew how to live! Rest in Peace, dear Betty.

Betty was, and will forever be, the smiling ambassador for everything positive in this world. The world and my world was better for her being in it.

My dear friend, Betty. There are hundreds of memories flying through my head and heart. We had so many fun, outrageous, hysterical, some sad, times together, you and I. You know how much Gene and I loved you and will cherish those memories forever! Love lollie

I have known Betty since she was in grade school with my brother. She and I became friends over the years and even went to Chicago to a friend's wedding with her. Betty was a very lovely person and she will be missed.

I met Betty way back in the mid to late 80's when I was an intern at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. I didn't know her well, but she was so nice and such a bright light. It's been so long and yet the memory of her is so vivid. My heart goes out to all who loved her.
