Chadwick Wilson Christine, Jr., devoted husband of Treon McGuire Christine for 53 years, loving father of Chadwick (daughter-in-law, Cynthia Chin) and John (daughter-in-law, Suree Tamjai); beloved grandfather of Andrew and Miranda, Eric and Natalie; dear brother of Patricia Christine and Shelley Morss, died peacefully on October 14, 2013 at Twin Lakes in Montgomery, Ohio. Born February 18, 1931 in Louisville, KY to Chadwick Wilson and Florence Christine, he graduated in 1953 from Yale University and then served in the Navy from 1953-1958. He rose to the rank of Lieutenant JG and worked as Russian Language specialist. He retired from Kidder Peabody in 1994, after 30 years in the investment business. From the age of 16 when he climbed the Grand Teton in Wyoming, Chad was passionate about mountain climbing. He continued to climb and trek for 55 years and especially enjoyed trips to the Himalayas. He shared his love of the mountains, reading, tennis, bicycling and running with his two sons, family and friends. Chad was also active in the Indian Hill Elementary School PTA starting the after-school soccer program. He was a president of the Mercantile Library, a member of the Cincinnati Yale Club, the Canadian Alpine Club, and the American Alpine Club. A memorial service will be held on November16th at the Indian Hill Church.
