Yvonne Makowski Obituary
Yvonne was born to Frieda and Leonard Thompson on November 23, 1950. She was pre-deceased by her parents and her brother, Tom.
Yvonne was a graduate of Newport Twp. High School. She was employed by RCA, Mountain Top, and the Smoke House Deli, Nanticoke. First and foremost, Yvonne was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Jan; her son, Lee and his wife, Melanie; Lee and Melanie's daughter, Madisyn; and the light of Yvonne's life, her grandson, Garrett. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
A casual viewing will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Davis-Dinelli Funeral Home, 170 E. Broad St., Nanticoke. A prayer service will follow the viewing at 7 p.m.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
Memorial donations are preferred and may be made to the charity of your choice.
