Americo Brigido Obituary

Americo A. (Tony) Brigido, 88, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at Loyalton Assisted Living Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Rose Gabello Brigido; his wife, the former Janet Reese Brigido; brothers, Carl, Guy and Tucker Brigido; and sisters, Etha Tagliaterra, Mattie Monelli and Ann Brigido.

Surviving are a son, Stephen Brigido and wife, Ann Marie; daughter, Diane McClellan and husband, Robert; brother, Phillip Brigido; two sisters, Edith Stassi and Marie Cardillo; a grandson, Dr. Stephen Brigido and wife, Dr. Gina; a granddaughter, Adrianne Brigido Van Scoyoc and husband, Jonathan; a great-granddaughter, Lilly Isabelle Brigido; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services and committal prayers will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home Inc., Old Forge. Relatives and friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday. Interment will be in Old Forge Cemetery.
