Kaylan Sennefelder Obituary
Kaylan was born July 15, 1992. Kaylan graduated from Wallenpaupack Area High School in 2011 and pursued an education in all the adventures this life has to offer. In addition to taking classes at University of Scranton, Kaylan traveled to Peru to better understand cultures other than her own. She spent time in many different places within our United States such as California, Texas, Florida and Washington, D.C. Kaylan pursued various endeavors, including but not limited to skateboarding, playing the guitar, speaking Spanish, rock climbing, hiking, bungee jumping, sky diving, cave diving and most recently playing tennis.
A kind and generous soul, she was a friend to all who knew her. The spark of love within Kaylan was ignited in those of us blessed to know her and will never be extinguished. She wasn't afraid to do anything. She embraced her short time here on this earth, and her genuine kindness and compassion was contagious to anyone around her. She didn't just march to the beat of her own drum, she MADE her OWN drum. And pounded it proudly; in her own special, funky tune. She was the embodiment of love, kindness and authenticity.
We will remember Kaylan for her adventurous spirit and her willingness to help anyone in need. Even in passing, she has continued to inspire by giving of herself as an organ donor, helping eight families to know a true gift, the gift of life.
Kaylan was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Joseph Hrobak.
She is survived by her parents; twin sister, Kristina,; brother, Evan; her maternal grandmother, Susan Hrobak; her paternal grandparents, Ed and Lois Sennefelder; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends and family may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Earl W. Lohman Funeral Home Inc., 14 W. Green St., Nanticoke. In addition, a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Faustina Kawalska Parish, 520 S. Hanover St., Nanticoke.

This is hard to believe for me personally. That someone that was SO full of life, happiness, positivity is no longer with us. My heart is with Kaylan's family and twin sister. She was so loved by everyone and will be dearly missed. Heaven gained another angel - way too soon. Going to miss that smile, that laugh, the smirk, and the quirky remarks. Never got to say goodbye. My taller mini-me.
