Frank Wolfe Obituary

Frank W. Wolfe Sr., 61, of North Washington Street, Wilkes-Barre, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016.

Born March 25, 1954, in Nanticoke, he was a son of the late Wilbur and Edith Hulsizer Wolfe. He attended the Wilkes-Barre schools.

Frank operated the luncheonette in the Luzerne County Court House for 15 years until 1998. Following that, he operated a vending business which he continued until the time of his death.

He was a member of Kingston Lodge #395 Free and Accepted Masons and the Irem Shriners. He was an avid HAM Radio operator and belonged to the Murgas Radio Club, Jonestown Mountain Repeater Club, the Susquehanna Radio Club and the Wayne County Amateur Radio Club.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Joe Hulsizer, Rick Wolfe and Ken Wolfe.

Surviving are his wife of 44 years, the former Deborah Dupras; a son, Frank Wolfe Jr. and wife, Debbie, Nanticoke; a daughter, Kim Keating and husband, Tim, Mountain Top; three grandchildren and a great-granddaughter; sisters, Barbara Solensky, Dallas; Marion Koppenhafer (Ed), Florida; Sandy McCormick, Pittston; Nancy Otway (Herb), Hunlock Creek; Edie Maynard, Florida; and Patricia Griffiths (Robert), Wilkes-Barre; a brother, Keith Wolfe (Louise), Dallas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. from Mamary-Durkin Funeral Service, 59 Parrish St., Wilkes-Barre. Interment will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hanover Township.

Viewing and visitation will be Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and a Masonic Memorial service will be conducted at 7:45 p.m.

Frank's family suggests that contributions in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.

What can I say about Frank that people don't already know? He was Frank that greatest friend you would ever want in your corner and in your heart.. You helped my daughter Mackenize beyond and you probably didn't even know what you did for her..You and Debbie are the best.
