Mildred Mary Adamczyk, 83, of Sheatown, passed away Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017, peacefully at home
Mildred was born Aug. 12, 1934, in Nanticoke, and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Anna Benia Jones.
Mildred was a graduate of Nanticoke High School, Class of 1952.
Mildred ran the kitchen at Guardian Elder Care for 20 years.
She was a member of St. Faustina Parish, Nanticoke.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Francis J. Adamczyk; daughter, Annette Adamczyk Wiernusz; sisters, Irene Cooper and Anna Benia; and brothers, Daniel Benia and Thomas Benia.
Mildred is survived by her son-in-law, Joseph Wiernusz; nieces, Jackie Polchies and Colleen Cooper; and nephew, Kenneth Kanyuck.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the main site of St. Faustina Parish, Hanover Street, Nanticoke.
Friends my call from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Stanley S. Stegura Funeral Home Inc., 614 S. Hanover St., Nanticoke.
Mildred will be laid to rest in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Newport.
