Marty Trout Obituary

OSAGE CITYMarty Donelle Trout, 65, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at her home in Osage City. Marty was born May 13, 1943, in Dodge City, Kansas, the daughter of Joe and Betty Crawford Wilson. She graduated from Overbrook High School and earlier had been a beautician. The past 30 years she had been a foster mother to many children. She attended the Twin Lakes Foursquare Church in Osage City and was a member of the Catholic Community Services Foster Care. She married Willard LaVern Trout, November 9, 1962. Survivors include her husband Willard of the home; four daughters, Peggy Zirkle (Brian), Burlingame, Christina Echavez (Gus), Osage City, Candice Schmitendorf (Roger), Osage City and Anna Villagrana, Topeka; two sons, Willard Trout, Jr. (Julie), Osage City and David Trout (Adrianne), Topeka; one sister, Sandy Richardson, (Jerry), Lake Winnebago, Missouri; three brothers, Steve Wilson (Ruby), Lees Summit, Missouri, Larry Wilson (JoLynn) Overland Park and Willie Meyer, Overland Park; 24 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many foster children. She was preceded in death by three daughters, Abby Trout, Tracy Trout and Kelly Jo Trout, her parents and a sister, Diana Meyer. Services will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 7, at the First Presbyterian Church in Osage City. Memorial contributions can be made to the Marty D. Trout Memorial Fund and sent to P.O. Box 57, Osage City, KS 66523.

I am so sorry to here about the death of Marty Trout I was one of her foster children in 1985 and 1986. I've been wanting to get ahold of the Trout family for a few year and it breaks my heart to here of Mrs. Trouts passing. My prayers go out to the family
