Earlyne Tessier Wilkerson, 88, formerly of Jackson, MS, passed away Friday, October 26, 2012, in Corpus Christi, TX. She was born September 30, 1924 in Jackson, MS, to the late John and Jessie Miller. Mrs. Wilkerson was a commercial artist who owned the former Art Studio on North State Street. She was a retired insurance salesperson at the time of her death.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ernie Wilkerson, a retired Major in the USAF, her parents, a brother, and a granddaughter. She was formerly married to the late Paul H. Tessier, of Brandon, MS.

She is survived by her daughter, Dianne Tessier-Epperson of Corpus Christi, TX,; a son, Paul H. Tessier, of Lafayette, LA.; 3 grandchildren: Steven Williams, of Houston, TX., Bryan Tessier of New Orleans, LA., Beau Tessier of Lafayette, LA.; and 9 great grandchildren: Mallorey, Beau Jr., Lillian, Bryan James, Katelyn, Kristin Tessier of Lafayette, LA.; and Sara and Dawn Williams of Houston, TX.; and Desiree Wyatt, Lillian Mitchell and Allen Sturdivant of Trosper, KY.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at 1:30 p.m. in Parkway Memorial Cemetery, Ridgeland, MS.
