Natalie's Spot

February 18, 2015

Natalie was so very special to all of us here at Transfer Express. She was always quick to say "Happy Friday!" to you. A self appointed job of hers was to clean up around the coffee maker, and to get two fresh pots brewed. She did this every day before her shift even started. She didn't have to, she just did it to take care of people. I can't even say how many mornings I came into the lunchroom to get coffee, and she would be sitting there. And she would say "I put a fresh pot on for you Tom!" This came as such a shock to us, and she will be truly missed by so many of us at Transfer Express. I am including a picture of Natalie's work station here. The flowers placed there by one of her coworkers, Andy Lesak. While it won't remain a shrine, that will always be "Natalie's Spot". Happy Friday, Natalie!

A thousand times we needed you
A thousand times we cried
If love alone could have saved you
you never would have passed
A heart of gold stopped beating
two twinkling eyes closed to rest
God broke our hearts to prove he only took the best
never a day goes by that you're not in our hearts and soul.

Although it's been many years since our last visit, there has been no forgetting the lasting impression upon my life in meeting your lovely Natalie. For me it was immediately apparent that her heart was wide open and accepting of all who crossed her path. There's no doubt she's been called home to Our Lord's loving arms. May this knowledge comfort you and your family during this difficult time. Love Always, Marcie

It broke our hearts to lose you,
but you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you,
the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
your love is still our guide.
And though we cannot see you,
you are always by our side.

Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what's to be,
A resting place along the road,
To sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way.
We are all meant to learn some things,
But never meant to stay.
No farewell words were spoken,
No time to say goodbye,
You were gone before we knew it,
& only God can tell us why.

My prayers go out to my family during this unexpected tragedy. I love you very much! I am with you in spirit and you are all in my heart!

Dave and Helen, know that she is with the Lord, for the bible tells us to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Into heaven the angels have led Natalie. She is now watching over you as your guardian angel.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
