Lynn and Bill - It was good to know Al and Rosemary even for the short time they were my neighbors. My prayers are with you for these coming days. I was away for the holidays so this comes late but is sincere.

Thinking of all of you at this sad time. We have lots of fond memories of Al. He was a wonderful man and will be missed. Lynn and Bill, you both did so much to help make his life as wonderful as possible. Prayers and love to all the Shepards.

Alden will truly be missed by us all at Bethany Village. Everyone that came in contact with him enjoyed his congenial personality and keen sense of humor. As one of the drivers for Bethany, I particularly enjoyed our discussions and his wit on our weekly trips to and from dialysis treatment. Although he did say he did not look forward to the treatments, he mentioned how much he enjoyed the rides. He recalled fond memories of times on the island in Canada with family and living and working in Cleveland. He is now at rest, and may you find peace in knowing what a genuinely good person he was.
