Iam the man who built his resturant for Tom and his chef Richard Taylor the Au Provence Tom & I shared many happy times together during the process of getting his prided Restaurant & Winery up and running , we also did some bumming around in varioue places such as a haunted house that I brought to his attention that we visited twice, no it was not opened to the public, thats another story such as not getting caught on a very aged Civil War hidden back woods property, but Tom says lets do it-- as you may know Tom was very intrested in the spirit world and that's another true story . Tom as well as myself had a volume of many intrest while building his prided Restaurant Toms mind was a very fine tuned instrument, who was able to dream and bring thoes dreams down to earth with foundations under them, that was Tom 100%, in any event, please do call me at 330-322-2340 thank you very much --

Ahh, dear Uncle Tom! It was such a delight to have an uncle who led such an exciting life - yet who took his volunteer service at the VA Hospital and later at Olean so seriously. Somewhere I have a picture of him determinedly opening a stubborn bottle of wine with a hammer and screwdriver... I remember how he treasured his rose garden on Grandville, and I remember his flamboyant stage with the big white winter coat lined with natural sheep wool, a big matching white and black dog, and the outfit completed with a bright red beret. Somehow I think Heaven just got a whole lot more lively. God Speed and Bless you, Uncle Tom!

I have known Dr. Thomas Wykoff since the late '70's.,and what a pleasure it has been. He, a man of great scope and multiple interests,he enlivened us all. To call him a "renaissance" man is to push it lightly. His Love of his wife ,science, roses, fine cuisine,And let us not forget a great vintner,He leaves us the poorest in his absence. GOD SPEND!!!

Looking back at great memories of Dr. Wykoff's au Provence days, may he rest in peace after a life well-lived.

Although Tom and I both grew up in Shaker Heights and went to Amherst in the same class, I did not really know Tom until we were both in medical practice together at St. luke's Hospital in Cleveland. I was chair of the Department of Surgery where he was chief of Otolaryngology. During that time Tom proved to be a very competent physiciajn, surgeon and educator. He was always creative and involved. Deb and i also had many a good french cuisine meal at his restaurant Au Provence. in addition, his wines won several prestigious awards despite the source of his grapes. In fact, one year when I was an invited professor to several european medical centers, I took his wines with me as gifts to my rather bemused hosts that I would dare to being an "Ohio Wine" to Europe. However they never failed to impress! Such was the post-Amherst Tom!

I just heard today of the passing of Dr. Wykoff and I am so sad. We had many conversations about boating as we both had a passion for visiting the 1000 Islands. He performed surgery on two of my children and he was so compassionate and caring. He was a great physician and friend. He will be missed. May he rest in peace.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of your husband. I worked with him at the Olean Medical Group and always found him to be warm, caring and so humorous. I have many fond memories of him. May he rest in peace.

Like a father who removes the cause of his children's suffering and dries their eyes, God will help and strengthen you during this difficult time. Jeremiah 29:12
Sincerely,
