Kirk O'Neal Pointer, 43 of Kennesaw, GA. passed away November 5, 2017. Visitation will be Friday, November 10, from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Summerfield Missionary Baptist Church, 1383 Boxwood, Memphis, Tn. 38108. Service will be Saturday, November 11 at 12 Noon at Bellevue Baptist Church Frayser, 3759 N. Watkins, Memphis, Tn. 38127. Interment in Pleasant Rest Memorial Park.
Mr. Pointer played in the National Football League (NFL) for the Miami Dolphins and Pittsburgh Steelers and he also played with the Nashville Kats and the Georgia Force. He leaves his wife, Simone Pointer, one daughter, Khayla Pointer, one son, Joshua Pointer, his mother Charlotte Elaine Thomas and father Karl Pointer, one sister, Kirneshia Robinson, one grandson and a host of relatives and friends.

It's hard for us to believe that he's gone so soon because we want him here, but God has other plans for Kirk. My prayers goes out to the Pointer family, Kirk will be missed dearly but not forgotten. This is his home going and He's in a better place. May God Bless his family.
