GRACE PRANGE Obituary

Missouri, Caruthersville - GRACE WUNDERLICH PRANGE passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at her residence in Caruthersville at the age of 94 years and 5 days. Mrs. Prange was born November 4, 1917 in Monette, Arkansas to C. George Wunderlich and Erma Halwe Wunderlich. She was united in marriage to Herbert L. Prange on July 29, 1939 in Memphis, Tennessee. She was a resident of Caruthersville since 1947. Mrs. Prange attended Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee and Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a devoted wife and mother whose greatest joy in life was raising and nurturing her family. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Caruthersville, where she was an Elder and taught Sunday school. She was an honorary life member of the the Women of the Church. Mrs. Prange is survived by her sons, George L. Prange of Jackson, Tennessee and John H. Prange of Maryland Heights, Missouri, as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Preceding Mrs. Prange in death was her husband, Herbert L. Prange, her parents, George and Erma Wunderlich and a sister, Mary W. Deaton. Visitation for Mrs. Prange will be held Friday, November 11 at the First Presbyterian Church in Caruthersville, Missouri. Funeral services will be held immediately following the visitation with Reverend Doctor Paul Currie and Reverend Rick Lyle officiating. Interment was in Little Prairie Cemetery in Caruthersville.
