I have great memories of Uncle Jim and Aunt Grace and all my Cousins, and the adventurers of heading North for hours and hours for visits that were far too short. The loss of your husband, and father is far more than words can convey.

As I sit here and reflect on years past I try to imagine what I can say to comfort any who may need it, I realize no words will suffice for we all have individual life experiences and needs. I will say that after the loss of my parents I genuinely look forward to the moments that vividly bring back my Ma, and Da to me. The smell of a man smoking Don's favorite pipe tobacco, anytime I hear a mother use a child's full name to get their attention like Sheila did with me... The photo gallery here for Jim soooooooo reminds me of my family's photos, and more specifically Don and Sheila. I close my eyes and they are right here with me.

You all are in the forefront of my thoughts in this time of loss, and I hope and know you find the comfort you need in the coming days.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I still remember the times our family went up north to have fun with Uncle Jim, Aunt Grace and our cousins. We had some great fun. Your family is in our prayers.

Dad had a humor and gentleness that seemed to grow with his age. He possessed tremendous dignity and strength and worked hard to provide for his large family with nary a complaint. His words did not often express his love and concern for my Mom and my siblings, but his actions always did. I really miss my Dad.
