Edwin Addis Obituary
AGE: 79 • Somers Point
Of Somers Point, NJ, age 79, on September 25, 2011. Born in Camden, he grew up in Gloucester City and lived in Washington Twp. for 30 years before moving to Somers Point. Mr. Addis worked for Bell Atlantic before retiring. After retirement he worked for the Atlantic City Expressway and was a part time real estate agent. He was a US Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a former member of the Church of God in Gloucester City and a member of the Florence Lodge # 87 F&AM in Woodbury. Beloved husband of Sharon A. Addis (nee Terrell). Devoted father of Edwin S. Addis and David Parker (Heather). Loving grandfather of Hailey Parker. Dear brother of the late William Addis, Jr. and the late Susie McConnell.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Thursday from 2:30 - 3:30 pm at the FARNELLI FUNERAL HOME, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, where a memorial service will follow at 3:30 pm. To sign the guestbook online please visit, www.farnellifuneralhome.com

I'm sorry I could not make the services. I really enjoyed getting to know Ed. He really liked talking politics with me as he was very passionate about the subject. I will miss those conversations and talking investments with him. I am very sad that he is gone. Prayers and love to you Sharon.

When Mr. Addis would come into my office, we would have such lovely conversations about everything. He was always such a pleasure to speak with and I learned quite a bit from you.

Sharon and family Supprise to hear of your loss. The last time Allen talked to Ed he said he was sick but we did not know how bad. We only knew each a short time but we rember you fondly. Our thought and prayers go out to at you at this time Allen and Isabelle Shaw

Ed always was someone who could hold an interesting and sensible conversation with at our favorite restaurant, the Crab Trap. You always miss good friends. Love to his family.

I worked with Ed, for many years at Egg Harbor Plaza, tolls...We had many talks about Florida...He was an honest hard working man and I enjoyed our conversations..I seen him last Christmas at plaza when he brought in some treats for the other collectors..May he rest in peace...
