AGE: 91 • Willingboro

Dorothy E. Rutter (nee McLarney), a resident of Willingboro since 1960, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2013. Born in Jersey City, Dorothy was 91 years old.

Dorothy was employed as a comptometer operator for Siemens Corporation in Cherry Hill.

Beloved wife of 66 years to Christopher C. Rutter, Sr. Loving mother of Dorothy Rutter Shelmet and her late husband Frank "Bud" Shelmet and Christopher C. Rutter, Jr. and his wife LoAnn. Loving grandmother of Lindsey, Kelly and Kyle Rutter. Sister of Frances Miersch and Mary Kerley. Dorothy is predeceased by her siblings: Elizabeth McLarney, Thomas McLarney, Loretta Aigner, Lucy Mullin, Edward F. McLarney, Jr., Agnes Beach and Joseph McLarney.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Dorothy's Life Celebration on Friday, August 2nd, from 9 am to 10:20 a.m. at Snover/Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, 11 South Sunset Road, Willingboro, NJ. Interment NJ Veteran's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dorothy's name may be made to the Wounded Warrior's Project Wounded Warriors Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
