Michele & family- we just found out about John's passing and were truly shocked! John was a friend of mine from our days as kids in Fairview to our adopting him as a "Bison wannabe" at our reunions. He was without a doubt, one of the funniest guys I've ever known and this was matched by his wonderful personality and genuine caring for everyone. We will all miss him dearly and offer you all our most sincere condolences and many, many prayers. God bless you all!

I am not a big posting fan but this is about John. So I must and here goes. John was my best friend. We were so much alike. We both were helicopter crew chiefs/mechanics for the military. John would give the shirt off his back to help anyone. He always had my back. We had the same view of life, family, and how to raise our children. John helped me to fix up my first house including the dismantling and assembly of an old gas stove that did not work to magically make it function. John was innovative, hilarious, and had a very realistic look on life. W many times would go to church together as we both had the love of our faith. We had many a good times from the Dunes till Dawn at the shore, to parties at my apartment when I went to the University of Pennsylvania, to the barbecues in my yard in Bellmawr. We had many common interests as well as our common love for Yuengling Lager beer. We continued to grow a best friends for many years. When we bought a house at the shore, John and Michele were common guests with Carol and me which resulted in many memories of great times. Carol and Michele became as close as John and I. We called the four of us Ricky, Lucy, Fred and Ethel as we were truly the best of friends. From Elks weekends, to Valentine Weekends to Seafood Fest Weekends, to fabulous fifties and sixties weekends, to Irish Weekends, to Polar Bear Plunge Weekends, to Super Bowl weekends, to Smugs Polish Pub Tour, to Christmas Parties at our house, just football weekends, just the beach weekends, vacations in Mexico and Savannah, and to any other weekend we got together. We had a common bond and were truly effortless to be together and to have great times. The memories of good times were endless. Over the course of our entire life, John and I never had any time where we got irritated or mad at each other. Truly amazing. I will miss him dearly. He was my best friend who I will never forget. John was one of a kind and loved by many. God Bless Him in heaven because I know he is there. I love you John and you will always be in my fondest memories.

Michelle,

Going back 30 years, I still remember you and John as fun-filled, supportive parents to a young teacher just beginning her teaching career. I sure was blessed to be part of the St. Rose teaching staff and further blessed to be one of your adorable son, John's, teachers. Some things are just too good to forget. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you, son John, and the rest of your family.

Dear Michele and Family....
Words can't express the shock of John's passing. He was such a jolly soul....always laughing, joking and pranking.....that's how Bob and I wish to remember him. Extending the Distinction of the both of you as Honorary Bisons was a thrill to the both of you and a welcome addition to our Class of 1967. Our Reunions will definitely miss his presence. May John rest in Peace.....We are certain Heaven will never be the same as John will petition God to be appointed Heaven's Jester! Our sincere wishes for a peaceful healing for you and the entire family. God Bless!
