John Reiners Obituary
AGE: 65 • Deptford
John William Reiners, age 65 of Deptford, NJ passed away suddenly on Friday May 12, 2017. Son of the late Magdalen and Joseph W. Reiners, Sr. Brother of Joseph W. Reiners, Jr. (Pat), Carol Geiger (James), the late Mary Kohler (Bill), and the late Dorothy Alliano (Tony is surviving). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as his dear friend Fr. Anthony Manuppella.
John was born in Philadelphia and was a longtime resident of the Almonesson section of Deptford. He worked as a teacher, first at Paul VI High School, then with the Camden City School District. Mr. Reiners was a longtime NJSIAA track and field official. He also served as a Eucharistic Minister.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday May 17, 2017 from 9:15 to 10:45 am at Infant Jesus Parish/St. John Vianney Church, 2901 Good Intent Rd., Deptford, NJ, where a funeral mass will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's memory to St. Gianna Beretta Molla Parish, 1421 New Rd., Northfield, NJ 08225. Yes, John asked that I save the used candles for him, so he could make new candles to burn. Just two weeks ago I gave John a full box of 24, and have several that I wanted to give to him when he returned to church. I will burn them now in his honor. I will miss John dearly, but am glad he is home with the Lord in Paradise. Rest easy my dear friend, and hopefully, we will see each other again someday. My condolences to John's family and friends and to Fr. Manuppella, as John so treasured his friendship with Fr. Manuppella.

This is a cool option, he dedicated candles with a prayer to many causes and people. John would recycle old candles and burn throughout the house. He was very resourceful, :-). I also have a large rosary made from a recycled wooden beaded car seat cover. I think a lot of people in Camden or from our old church have them. I keep that oversized rosary on my bed post. Thank you for allowing me to share some stories about John in this manner.
