John P. O'Brien

O9BRIEN John P. O'Brien, age 62, of Monroe, beloved husband of Judith Avery O'Brien, died Thursday, November 10, 2005, at Ashlar of Newtown. John was born on May 13, 1943 and was the son of the late John P. and Mary Ellen Owens O' Brien. John was an assistant supervisor for the greater Bridgeport Transit Authority for 22 years. John served with pride, honor and distinction in the United States Army reserves during the Viet Nam War. Survivors in addition to his devoted loving wife Judith, include his cherished children, one son, James and his wife, Trish McMahon, of Trumbull; three daughters, Patricia O'Brien of Monroe, Kimberly and Vincent Edwards of Seymour and Audra Smith of Monroe; four grandchildren, Melissa Ann Edwards, Jessica Elizabeth Edwards, Jaime Dee McMahon and Vincent Nicholas Edwards; and several cousins. Friends are invited to meet directly at St Stephen's Church, 6948 Main Street, Trumbull, on Tuesday, November 15, 2005 at 10 a.m. for a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends on Monday November 14, 2005 in the Spadaccino Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Route 111, Monroe, from 6 to 8 p.m. Donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association Fairfield County, Connecticut Chapter, 279 New Britain Road, P.O.
