Margaret E. Onder Farina

FARINA Margaret E.Onder Farina, age 82, of Fairfield, loving wife of Sylvio Farina, passed away on Wed nesday, January 4, 2012 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport, Mrs. Farina was a lifelong Fairfield resident. She had worked for the former Dictaphone Co. of Bridgeport. Marge enjoyed her regular Tuesday trips to "Doctor Sun" and "Doctor Foxwoods". A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Marge cherished the times that she spent with her beloved grandsons, especially while cheering for them during their sports games. In addition to Sylvio, her husband of 57 years, survivors include her son, Paul Farina of Fairfield, her daughter, Jane DeSio and her husband Tom of Shelton, her precious grandsons, Jason and Dylan DeSio, a brother, Frank Onder and his wife Marion of Fairfield as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Barbara Castorina and niece Janis Castorina. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11am DIRECTLY at the Calvin United Church, 901 Kings Hwy, Fairfield with burial to follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 3-6pm in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Rd., Fairfield Center.
