Hi Grandpa,

I miss you very much. I am going back to school next week. I can't believe that you are gone away from us. I had been thinking on all the times that we had together. It's difficult to see that you're so far away. I'm trying to hang in here. Our memories that we had together will never died. The reason why I picked the saxophone out of all of the other intsruments because of you grandpa, you always loved the saxophone. Give me the strength to overcome that you are in a better place. I love you very much, Grandpa. Love and always, Carissa

My beloved Grandfather,

It is hard to see you go, but I know that you are in a better place with GOD, his loving son, Jesus and the family. We had the BEST memories that anyone can asked for. I remember when you first taught me to fish and I only caught a few and you were my teacher when it came to playing golf. We both loved that sport. After, we finishing driving on the field; we would go and grab chili dogs and chocolate milkshakes! I was so happy that you and grandma stayed with us on Adanti Ave. and Ford St. for a few years. How about them Yankees?! The reason why I choose to be a Yankee fan because of you and your everlasting wife, grandma. Those were the best days of our lives! Bootsie and Katie would say hello to you since they were part of our family and I knew that you loved them. You are the greatest grandfather that I ever had and anyone can asked for. Now you are in a better place and I will see you again and we will catch up on stuff in our new lives. It's like starting a new chapter in our lives. I love you and always forever.

Love,

Your granddaughter, Carissa Ann Madden
