Eva, as she was called by her many relatives and friends, left us on Wednesday, October 27, 2010. She lived a full life and was loved by all who knew her. Eva leaves behind her loving husband, Hugh Hunter; son, Michael Hunter; daughter-in-law, Virginia Hunter; grandchildren, Sean, Marni, Laura, Brian, Mark, Andrew, Colin, as well as 13 great grandchildren. We will always miss your loving ways and beautiful smile. Goodbye my love! Visitation will be Monday, November 1, 2010 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm at the mortuary. Dear Hunter Family,

Hugh, I an so sorry for the loss of your wife, and Michael, your Mother. My name is Penny. We lived across from your family in Dana Strand Projects. My parents were Suling & Frank Guerrero. My gosh, so long ago. I believe I am the same age as the twins. Eva and my Mom were good friends. I know because after your family moved, my family had always talked about the Hunter Family (The Hunter Boys) my older brothers Frankie and Kenny played with.

As I was growing up my mom often talked to me about "Her friend Eva." We were always sitting around the beautiful round wood table Eva had given her, and how Eva pierced my ears when they sat me on it. We still have that beautiful table in our family, and always will! It now sits at my nieces house (Lexie's daughter). She has a big house and for all Holidays it serves as our dessert table - always looking beautiful. Eva called me after my Mom passed away, that was nice. We talked for a while. She seemed to want to talk about our family's and my Mom. She sounded so nice with a very sweet voice. I just wish I could have known her more. God Bless your Family.

Dearest Hunter, Michael and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I loved Mom so much and have so many wonderful happy memories of her and her beautiful smile. She was so precious, I know she is in Heaven with Jesus dancing like an Angel, no pain, now she is with all her loved ones in Heaven until then she is truly going to be missed by everyone who loved her. I pray God's comfort over all of you at this time.

Uncle Hunter and cousin Michael, I am so sorry for this tremendous lost. Auntie will always be remembered in our hearts and mind. She was a lady and a very giving person. I will remember her when I hear certain music. She was so precious and I loved her. Now she is with my mom and they no longer will endure any type of pain or sorrow. We will always be at your side when you need us. Love you - Angelo, Ida Margain

Hugh & Michael, my deepest sympathy. You both have been through much with the deaths of Stephen, Frank, Huey, & now your wife & mother. I was a close friend of Frank's when we both graduated from Banning during S'61 & joined the United States Air Force under the "buddy system". Eva was so happy. I was very fortunate to had seen her a few years ago while visiting in California. My memories of her beautiful smile will never diminish. Prayers and love to all the family! A long time friend since we all lived in Dana Strand Projects in the late '50s.
