Pearl Elliott

Pearl Elliott, 90, a 63-year resident of Redondo Beach, passed away last week of natural causes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger and her eldest son, Billy Don. She is survived by her loving children, Sally Maureen (Manfred), Tommy, Richard (Denise), Steven (Robyn) and her grandchildren, Andrew and Zack. A lifelong lover of music, she was an accomplished musician, having her own radio program in Oklahoma while still in her teens. Moving to California in the 40's, she worked in a defense plant during WWII. While raising her children she was President of the PTA and instrumental in the expansion and construction of local schools. In her retirement years she was a regular attendee at the local Jazz Festivals and especially loved the Big Bands at Disneyland.
