My deepest sympathy for your loss. I was at the trialthon and I may not even be a family or friend but I wanted to give my condolences. I read Jim's journal and he had an amazing spirit through his journal. I hope your family will find comfort knowing his spirit lives on.

To the entire Lawrence family ~ We are so saddened and stunned by the loss of your Dear Jim. It was a pleasure to have met him 2 years ago when he came down here to Middletown, NY, to visit us and some of the circle of friends from the internet world. He will be dearly missed and our hearts ache for you.

Jim, I'll miss you - you were a bright light, a smiling face, a great coworker and dependable wisecracker. You made my job fun, and that was an accomplishment. I always admired your commitment to fitness. You always said good, happy things about your family, your activities, and life in general. Your gentle and optimistic spirit will live on in those of us who were fortunate enough to know you.
