Louis J. Guido KINGSTON - Louis J. Guido, 85, of Governor Clinton Apts., Kingston died Dec. 25, 2010 in Albany. He was born in East Kingston, a son of the late Peter and Lucy Conte Guido. He served in the United States Navy during World War II in the South Pacific. For 20 years he worked at Star Brick in Ulster Landing; he also worked at a warehouse on Susan Street, Kingston; for Local No. 445, Newburgh and then for the Ulster County Highway Department. Formerly of East Kingston he was a parishioner of St. Colman's Church. Husband of the late Teresa Parise Guido, father of the late Mary Lou Sasso, father-in-law of Camillus Sasso of Glasco; brother of Louise Gardecki of East Kingston, and the late Dolores Guido, Mary Iconetti, Rose Noble, Ann Guido, and Theresa Ferrendino, Joseph, Charles, Frank and John Guido; grandfather of Marc, Lisa and Eric Sasso, great-grandfather of Mia Louise Sasso, many nieces and nephews. Reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral procession will form on Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home.
