A faithful member of the Assumption-St. Paul Church in Mechanicville, Dom was a Eucharistic Minister for his church. A friendly man, with high moral values for his family and community, Dom was involved in the lives of all who lived in Riverside, especially all area kids, and was an ally and sidekick of his best friend, the late John Serbalik, Sr., in their many activities. Mary and Family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. I will never forget growing up on the "Island" and hanging out at Funaro's Store on East Street.

Dear Mary, Don, Rick, Dory and Kathy:

I only met Dom three times, but each time I saw him, I was extended his trademark warmth and greeted as though I was a long time treasured friend. My heart goes out to all of you because his spirited nature will be keenly missed at family occasions and in the course of day-to-day routines. Dom is memorable for the dedication to his family and the community he loved in such a huge way and for his appreciation of the simple joys that too many of us would overlook. I'll never forget when my Dad and I sat near Mary and Dom at a Willie Nelson concert at SPAC, and to see the delight in Dom's face was better than the entertainment on stage. He will always be with all of you because he is the family caretaker and the role is perpetual. I will miss hearing the wonderful anecdotes which Dory would share with me about 'Dad.'

God Bless you all.

Dear Mary & Family,

I don't know where to bgin. So many wonderful memories of long ago when I was a boy and literally all of us on Frog Island hung out on the front steps of your store, played basketball in your back yard, bought those squirt guns that Ms. Ashman always confiscated...the list goes on and on.

Will always remember Dom's smile and kidding manner, one of us kid's, that made it special.

My sincere sympathies. I will always remember Dom.
