Marguerite Milo Obituary

Marguerite Alice 'Peggy' Milo RotterdamMarguerite Alice Peggy Milo, 62, of Rotterdam, died at home on Thursday, February 9, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. Peggy was born in Schenectady, the daughter of the late Jean and Leona Colombe LeRoy. She was a member of the Schenectady VFW Post 982, Women of the Moose Chapter 188 and the Schenectady Eagles. She ran Bingo at St. John the Evangelist School for over 16 years. She and her husband, Floyd loved spending time at Turning Stone and Niagara Falls. Peggy was an amazing mother, grandmother, and loving wife. Her family was her world. Anyone that has known Peggy has had the pleasure of her touching their life. She will be missed every day. Survivors include her beloved husband, Floyd D. Milo; three children, Kim (Dave) Milo, John Rising and Tammy (Bill) LaTulipe; two sisters, Patricia Girard and Mary Richard; six grandchildren that were her every breath, Valerie, Dalton, Jasmine, Justin, Johnny and Rhea; her three dogs which she cherished, Levi, Rags and Honey Girl; and her best friend, Debbie Bates. Calling hours will be held Monday, February 13 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Avenue, Rotterdam. A funeral service will be held Tuesday 10 a.m. at the funeral home followed by burial at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Schenectady. Special thanks to Maureen and Sue from Hospice for making Peggy, as well as her family, comfortable. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Hospice of Schenectady, 1411 Union St., Schenectady, NY 12308.
