MUNDELEIN - Paul Eugene Glatz, 85, formerly of Henry, IL. passed away Saturday December 13, 2014, at the Winchester House in Libertyville, IL. Born on June 29, 1929 to Louis and Gertrude Glatz in Henry, IL. He married Lillian Kozlowski on September 29, 1956 in Chicago. They lived in Mundelein for 57 years. Paul worked for Dresser Industries, formerly International Harvester in Libertyville and Broadview until 1986. He dearly loved his family, his home and his garden, which he always shared with friends and neighbors. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lillian; their children, Paula Quagliesi, Lynn (Matt) Teolis, Thomas, Mary Ann, Gail (Jay) Corgiat and John (Kristine). Also survived by his grandchildren, Lydia (Lupe) Huerta, Jackie (Nick) Anderson, Alex, Maddie, AJ Corgiat and Kelly Glatz; great-grandchildren, Shea, Xoixhi, and Tre Huerta, Lilliana, Drake, Kassidy and Cooper Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Gertrude; sisters, Dorthy Shipton, Catherine Nudo, Judy O'Donnell; brother, Pete; grandsons, Billy and David Lunkes. Visitation is from 4-8 PM. Friday at the Kristan Funeral Home P.C., 219 W. Maple Ave. (two blocks west of Route 45 on Route 176), Mundelein with praying the rosary at 7:30 PM. Funeral service 11 AM. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Winchester House at 1125 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville, IL 60048. Think about you often Paul and all of the conversations we had over the decade+ Melita and the kids and I lived on Lincoln Ave. together with you and Lil. Was thinking about you and Lil today and the things like your Dr. Pepper, the two of you giving out full-sized candy bars at Halloween, and giving the kids the crisp, new $2 bills all of the time. Greatest neighbors we could have asked for. We miss you both.
