Robert McFARLAND Obituary

YORKTOWN - Robert Grove "Bob" McFarland Jr., 78, a native of Pittsburgh, Pa., and resident of Yorktown for five years, passed away with family by his side on Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010.
He was a part of Northside Christian Church family. Bob served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and later retired from Endicott-Johnson as a shoe sales rep.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret M. and Robert G. McFarland Sr.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Jo M. McFarland of Yorktown; his sons, Robert E. McFarland of Atlanta, Ga., Charles W. McFarland of Tampa, Fla., John R. McFarland and Todd Kemmerly both of Atlanta, Ga., and Guy Kemmerly of Yorktown; 14 grandchildren; and a sister, Shirley Snyder of Irwin, Pa.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Northside Christian Church by Pastor Larry Jones. Inurnment will be private at a later date.
